The plot was better, and the constant questioning of good and evil is intense...
Plenty of fan-service via C.C, Kallen, and even Shirley to a degree. As a guy, I like... I like a lot
Character development may be slightly worse (in that there's always those people that just show up randomly, seem important, then die) than Avatar, but still is incredible. Lelouch is the deepest and most compelling of any character in either show.
Emotion was infinitely deeper in that show. It legitimately made me cry, Avatar never even got me close. When Shirley died, I was way too close to bawling out loud. But war is hell, that was something Avatar never comprehended. It was a kids' show, true, but war should not be portrayed inaccurately as such.
Overall, Code Geass gets major kudos for topping such a feat. Highly suggest for anyone to watch it...
